New: “Soul of the City” is a 28 minute documentary about the role of public ritual in an urban community. Ethnic identity and politics merge with religious ritual in the streets of San Antonio Texas during the Holy Week Services at San Fernando Cathedral. Reenactments of the way of the cross, the crucifiction and burial are photographed with highly personal close ups, making this a documentary that evokes spiritual experiences and promotes reflection.
